Island Coconut Milk Bath
This island coconut milk bath will make you feel as if you were lounging on a tropical beach and sipping a piña colada. It has a pleasant and prominent cream of coconut scent.
Milk baths may seem decadent but they are actually good for your skin. The lactic acid in the milk is an alpha hydroxyl acid. This acid helps cleanse skin and releases dead skin cells (gentle exfoliator). Milk baths allow the skin to rejuvenate more quickly and result in skin which is satiny smooth, soft, and has a radiant glow.
We use coconut milk powder in our milk bath for its high levels of Vitamin C which help maintain skin elasticity. Copper in the milk powder helps prevent skin sagging.
Sea salt adds a bit more skin exfoliation, detoxifies the body, and promotes blood circulation and new skin growth.
Epsom salt aids exfoliation, soothes aching muscles, relieves tension, and may help some skin conditions.
